WHAT GOES INTO CANCELLING A TUESDAY CAR SHOW

For those of you who wonder why at 5 o’clock on a beautiful day we cancelled a car show-as we did on May 19–this is what goes into this decision.

A decision needs to be made around 11 am in order to notify the food vendor, DJ, and all our sponsors if the cruise is to be cancelled.  Also those in charge of Facebook and our Website need to be notified.  We listen to multiple weather reports and make a decision based on the best information we have at the time.  We look at the weather prediction from early afternoon through the evening hours.  Because we know how important your cars are to you, we do not take this decision lightly.  Had there been a car show in Solon on April 15 at 5 pm every car in the lot would probably been totaled because of the hail, not to mention the bodily injury to all those present.

As it happened early in the morning on May 19, storms with hail, were predicted for that evening.  As it turned out it was a beautiful evening.  Once a decision is made we cannot reverse it later in the day.  We do the best we can–with you and your car our top priority.

*********ATTENTION CRUISERS*********

Due to the road construction on Enterprise Parkway we have opened up the back entrance off of Cochran Road.  It is advisable that all show cars use this entrance until further notice.  The Cochran Road entrance is for Show Cars ONLY.  All spectator cars are to continue to use and park off of Enterprise Parkway.  Signs will be posted to guide you.
